Learn how to use a variety of ingredients to make healthy meals and snacks to help manage your weight. Let’s Cook for Weight Management is a hands-on cooking class that will teach you easy tips to enjoy healthy eating! You will learn the basics of weight management while eating fewer calories and still feeling full and satisfied. We will also cover topics such as nutrition, shopping, time
management, and more.
Our instructors will demonstrate proper techniques and help you with hands-on recipe preparation. You will be able to taste-test what you cook during the class. What are you waiting for? Let’s Cook with Extension!

DEMENTIA FRIENDS INFORMATION SESSION
Tuesday, May 19 at 1:00pm in the La Carte Room
This one-hour Dementia Friends Information Session will cover five key messages about dementia and touch on what it is like to live with dementia.
Dementia Friend participants will turn their understanding into a practical action that can help someone with dementia living in our community.
By helping everyone in a community understand what dementia is and how it affects people, each of we can make a difference for people touched by dementia.
