The fitness class, R.I.P.P.E.D., for 6-12 year olds
Description: Fun, high-intensity conditioning with bouts of active recovery to improve speed and cardiovascular capacity, performed with a certain amount of playfulness. We also teach what muscles are, how they work, and how to train them to become stronger and perform better for sports and daily life. Various sports-based moves to aid in agility, coordination and landing safely are also used.

Youth Basketball Clinic
Saturdays, January 18 – February 22
Participants will learn the fundamentals of the game and improve dribbling, shooting, rebounding and defense.
Ages 5-7 – 9:30AM-10:30AM

Held in the Gymnasium of the Y
Teams can have up to 5 players. Teams must register and pay in advance.
Registration forms must be filled out in full and returned by January 24. Registration forms will be
available beginning, December 16 in the Business Office.
Who can play?
Boys and girls from any school district.
Members and Non-Members welcome.
2 Age Groups:
Fee is $10 per player.
Children will learn the fundamentals of soccer.
Learn to trap, dribble and pass. We’ll play games to reinforce “no hands” and learn how to shoot a goal.

Kids in the Kitchen! Valentine’s Day Baking Class
What does everyone want for Valentine’s Day? Chocolate obviously!! Treat your child to a baking class which revolves around chocolate and delicious baked goods! Your child will get to make various treats, test them, and then even bring some home to share!
Date: Friday, February 7
