Little Camp

4-6 years of age

1.     3, 2, 1 BLAST OFF! JUNE 14-18

Are you ready to blast off in this out of this world camp?  If you want to explore space but Mom won't let you leave Earth, this is your camp.  We'll all be flying high playing with this parachute and with our flying comets.  When we land on the moon, there will be a moon walk and moon rock hunt.  I'm afraid there is a chance aliens may be found on this undiscovered planet.  Then it's time for pictures in our space t-shirts.  so pack up your lunch and get ready to Blast Off!

2. MISS SPIDER AND FRIENDS- JUNE 21-25

Miss Spider invites all her friends to a special camp in their honor.  We will begin our own little garden, make a jar to collect bugs and decorate a beautiful butterfly.  Playing with all of Miss Spider's friends like bees, ants and some special farm animals will be such fun.  You and Miss Spider will become such good friends you will want to take her home with you. 

3. READY, SET GO! JUNE 28-JULY 2

Everyone loves to travel.  the campers will be traveling in their very own homemade "box" cars.  They will learn the rules of the road, like stopping at stop signs, yielding to pedestrians and not being a road hog.  Their cars will be customized with vanity license plates.  How about a little game of Red Light, Green Light?  To finish the week, we will have our own Motocross racetrack event.  We will get the checkered flag at our photo finish frames just for you.

 

4. LAND BEFORE TIME-JULY 12-16

The volcano is about to erupt!  Help the dinosaurs find a new place to live.  Let's round up the dinosaurs on a dino hunt.  Don't get lost during the lost world obstacle course.  We can take home a dinosaur banner and wear our dino visors.  Making dinosaur teeth to wear around or necks will be great fun.  What time is it Mr. T-Rex?  I hope we can save the dinosaurs in time!  come join in the adventure. 

5.SCOOBY DOO MYSTERY- JULY 19-23

The Mystery Machine will be in camp this week with Scooby Doo and his friends.  There is a monster loose at camp and we need to help Scooby solve the mystery.  We will make flower power key chains and skull reflector necklaces to keep us safe.  How about if we bake some Scooby snacks to eat?  If we follow the clues there is a mystery to be solved and a treasure to be found at the end of the week.  Scooby Dooby Doo!
 

6. LET'S HAVE A LUAU - July 26-30

Aloah!  Palm trees, pineapples , beach balls and the ocean - sounds like the place for a luau.  We will have fun making tropical door hangers, a beautiful lei and island sand art.  I can't wait to see if the buoyant  buddies we make will really float. A few games of musical islands and a beach ball relay sets the mood for our luau on Friday.  Everybody Limbo!

7. CRAZY CAMPING- AUGUST 2-6

Oh no, the campers have taken over camp and are running around with their clothes on backwards! I see the tent but where are all the counselors?  Maybe they are hiding in the woods.  Lets go on a hike to find them.  Maybe we can also find a monkey to take home and hang on our door.  What are the campers doing in their PJ's with their stuffed animals?  Of course we will share a few campfire stories and songs.  Don't forget the s'mores.  Grab your sit-upons, pillow and homemade duffle bags.  We are all going camping!
