SilverSplash®

Activate your aqua exercise urge fro variety!  SilverSplash® offers lots of fun and shallow water moves to
improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.  No swimming skills are required and a special
SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.
Class meets Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30 AM  and Friday at 11:00 AM.  (Formally Aquafit)
YMCA Members: Free
Non-Members: $58.00=2x's per week
                    

Aquafit

This high energy, low impact aerobic class is perfect for those who can not participate in traditional programs.  Use the waters resistance to work on posture, muscle strengthening and balance.  Some resistance equipment used.  Class ends with a full body stretch.  No swimming skills are needed.

Arthritis Exercise

Do gentle exercises in a heated pool under the guidance of a trained instructor.  No swimming skills necessary. 
Let the waters buoyancy relieve your joints by supporting body weight and therefore increasing range of motion.

Splashdance

A rhythmic water exercise program designed to condition the cardiovascular system and provide a
balanced workout for all muscles of the body.

Meets Monday and Wednesday 11:45 A.M.

Wet Vest

A deep water exercise program that provides an overall workout using all major muscle groups. 
Swimming skills are not necessary, but some skills are helpful.  Participants use a Wet Vest®
and are suspended in the deep water.  Great program for those recovering from surgery or injury. 
This no-impact class is also great for those with arthritis.

Aqua Boogie

This water exercise class combines working all major muscle groups and joints as in the Arthritis Class with the up-beat
traveling and dance like moves of SplashDance. Finish your week off with this fun water workout!  Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace and do only what they are able to do.

Deep Water Running

High intensity, no impact deep water workout.  Great form of cross-training for endurance runners, cyclists and all other athletes.  Use of a Wet Vest is not recommended but may be used if necessary.  Swimming skills are necessary. 
Meets: Tuesdays/Thursdays - 6:30- 7:30PM.
